Stefan Kraft, the Austrian, dominated the competition in Oslo to claim the men’s large hill win. Kraft overcame the Norwegian Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal by 8.8 points, scoring a 255 total to cement his position at the top of the overall standings. Silje Opseth, the Norwegian, triumphed on home snow putting up a score of 109.3 to eke out beating Katharina Schmid of Germany by 3.3 points.

Stefan Kraft capitalised on nearest rival Ryoyu Kobayashi failing to qualify for the men’s large hill to win in Oslo and extend his Ski Jumping World Cup lead.

In the women’s competition, Silje Opseth triumphed on home soil as the Norwegian benefitted from the final round being cancelled.

Austria’s Kraft denied two Norwegian wins in both events as he beat out Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal.

Kraft triumphed by 8.8 points from Sundal as he extended his lead from the first round, scoring 255.0 points, while Sundal stormed up the rankings from fifth after the first round.

Jan Hoerl of Austria completed the podium as Kraft extended his lead in the overall standings to 296 from Japan’s Kobayashi.

Andreas Wellinger is 77 points further back after finishing 20th in Norway having dropped from 16th after the first round.

In the women’s event, Opseth’s score of 109.3 was enough to see her triumph, beating Katharina Schmid of Germany by 3.3 points.

The second round was cancelled due to the wind conditions as Opseth was joined on the podium by team-mate Maria Eirin Kvandal.

Overall World Cup leader Nika Prevc finished sixth with second-place Eva Pinkelnig only able to close the gap by five points to 169 after ending one place above Prevc in fifth.
