Tadej Pogacar has blown his rivals out of the water with back-to-back stage victories which has seen the UAE Team Emirates rider consolidate his stranglehold on the pink jersey. Can anyone cut into his lead on Stage 9, or will the day see the sprinters to the fore? Here’s how to watch Stage 9 on Sunday, as well as details on when the coverage starts on Eurosport and discovery+.

Tadej Pogacar is living up to the hype as he secured back-to-back stage victories at the Giro d’Italia to further cement his dominance.

After an exhilarating performance to win Stage 7, the 25-year-old bided his time and launched a late attack to claim victory on Stage 8 on Saturday afternoon.

The UAE Team Emirates rider has extended his lead at the top of the GC to two minutes and 40 seconds ahead of Dani Martinez (Bora-Hansgrohe) and Geraint Thomas (Ineos Grenadiers).

Can Pogacar forge more of a gap at the top of the standings, or can someone finally stop his charge?

This will be the last day for his rivals to cut the gap before enjoying a rest day on Monday.
