Norway came from third after the ski jumping pick up gold

Norway picked up the mixed team crown following a brilliant individual performance from Ida Marie Hagen on home snow in Trondheim.

Austria and Germany completed the podium in second and third as Norway sailed to a winning time following the cross-country.

Austria’s Annalena Slamik, Stefan Rettenegger, Johannes Lamparter and Lisa Hirner took the lead after the ski jumping after collecting a total of 422.9 points.

Hagen, Jens Luraas Oftebro, Joergen Graabak and Gyda Westvold Hansen started the race 16 seconds behind thier opponents in third but emerged victorious thanks to a storming cross-country run.

A dominant performance from Hagen to close the gap on Slamik in the first kilometre set up Norway well in a tight 4,x5km battle.

Austria finished 12.1 seconds back overall while Germany’s Manuel Faisst, Nathalie Armbruster, Jenny Nowak and Johannes Rydzek took bronze 53.2 seconds back.
